Synopsis
The Educational Accessibility for Children in Hardship (EACH) is a non-profit corporation whose goals are to Increase educational accessibility for talented but underprivileged children in Africa, who can otherwise not afford the cost of education through the provision of scholarships and other support services.
I was asked to design the web presense for the EACH Foundation. The site is built around web standards, and is coded in XHTML with CSS for design and layout. The site also relies on PHP for several news items. This Project is currently ongoing and I am planning on integrating an rss feed soon.
This project was very close to me, coming from Africa myself. And I was more than happy to volunteer my services to an organization that is actively helping to alleviate the plight of many talented African children, who by virtue of their financial background have very little access to basic neccessities of life, such as a good education.
